Rota-Loo certified to AS/NZS 1546.2 On-site domestic wastewater treatment units - Waterless Composting Toilets.
All states and territories of Australia require that a WCT meets AS/NZS1546.2:2008, but each has different departments, rules and conditions which guide the local authorities.
Please attach the support letter for your state or territory when submitting an application for installation of a Rota-Loo to your local authority.
The support letter includes a copy of our certification OMK30059, along with any conditions of installation and operation for that state or territory.

QueenslandAs a composting toilet, Chief Executive Approval (CEA) is not required under Section 91 of the Queensland Plumbing and Drainage Act 2002.
You will need to refer to the installation manual to ensure that site plans submitted with the application cater for the Rota-Loo model of your choice. ![]()

New South WalesRota-Loo is approved by the NSW Department of Health under certificate number WCT010

South AustraliaRota-Loo is approved by SA Health under approval reference number WWP-20015.
The conditions of installation set out on page 7 of the PDF are met when the Rota-Loo is installed and operated according to the manuals; with exception to items 5 & 10. Please ensure you meet these requirements if they apply to your installation. ![]()

Western AustraliaRota-Loo is approved by the WA Department of Health under approval number F-AA-53881, please ensure you comply with the conditions for installation and operation outlined in the PDF

Northern TerritoryRota-Loo is approved by the NT Department of Health under product approval number
PROD2018-019. Systems must be installed by a licensed plumber and all electrical work must be carried out by a licensed electrician. Please note in particular clause 2.2 Installation, Operation and Maintenance to ensure your installation meets the Department of Health requirements. ![]()

Rota-Loo has been accredited by the Department of Justice as per the Certificate of Approval DOC/18/4605 for use in a single dwelling in Tasmania.
